Understand many Congenital Heart Defects and develop skills to perform an Echocardiogram on a patient with suspected or known CHD.   Lectures and Case-study based learning environment complemented by HANDS-ON scanning.  Learn the TRICKS OF THE TRADE.

Create CHD models using play-doh – A great way to visualise Normal and Abnormal anatomy. Complement your Adult Echocardiography skills, and learn the differences between a Paediatric and Adult Echo.

Topics Include

Normal and Abnormal development of the:

  • Venous system
  • Atrial septa & chambers
  • AV valves
  • Ventricular septa & chambers
