The ECHO ED Introduction to Congenital Heart Disease online workshop is designed to introduce Echocardiographers to many aspects of Congenital Heart Disease and assist in bridging the gap between the world of Adult Echocardiography and the world of Paediatric Echocardiography.
This online course will help you understand many Congenital Heart Defects and develop skills to assist you when performing an Echocardiogram on a patient with suspected or known CHD. It includes lectures, case studies, drawing activities & practical videos to provide you with a great introduction to the world of Congenital Heart Disease.
A number of unique plasticine activities will allow you to visualise Normal and Abnormal anatomy. Simple to Advanced concepts & practical videos are included in this 2.5 hour online course, presented by Ruth Ramm. Improve your understanding of CHD & feel more confident diagnosing and excluding defects.
Excellent reviews were received for the onsite workshop in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019. 2020 was cancelled due to COVID-19. The online program continues to receive great reviews. Access to the online program is for 6 months from the date of registration in 2024.
